Randell Major was born and raised in New Mexico. His great grandfather started ranching here in New Mexico in 1887 on the old Field Ranch.
Randell graduated from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM. He is a member of the NMMI Crossed Sabers Society, NM Farm Bureau, and Farm Credit of New Mexico. He currently serves as SW Regional Vice President for New Mexico Cattle Growers Association. Randell owns ranches in Cibola, Catron, and Socorro Counties. He and his wife Lynn, with their children, own and operate Randell Major Cattle Company.
Randell's parents, Buddy and Helen Major, owned several ranches in New Mexico and one in Colorado. He is the youngest out of the 6 children. While growing up on these ranches Randell learned how to work, manage, and finance ranches. He has been involved in and has brokered many real estate transactions.
Randell acquired his New Mexico Real Estate license in 2004 because of his interest and knowledge about properties in New Mexico. When buying or selling land in New Mexico, Randell will be an asset because of his combination of knowledge in real estate and his background in ranching.
